Eelco Tolsma has mounted Bi-Xenon on his Donkervoort. More information will be provided as soon as possible. Viewed: 132 times.

| | The new original Donkervoort central wheel hub cover seems to be lost quite frequently during harsh driving conditions. Not being cheap, it is better to prevent them from coming loose. Drill a 2.4 max 2.5 mm hole on the location as shown. Use drill oil. Then cut 3 mm wire inside the hole and mount a 3 mm mounting screw as shown. Use a Dremel to cut out a spot inside the rim which can “take” the mounting screw. This needs to be mounted with some Loctite. Please make sure when mounting into the wheel, that the surface needs to be flat, so it will fit the wheel hub easily. Viewed: 206 times.

| The shape of the original rubber air intake hose changes when the engine is running over 4.000 RPM. This is from 180 HP and up. Proove is on the Forge website. This influences the air/ fuel mixture and enriches the mixture on high revs. To prevent this an aluminium air intake should be mounted.

Unfortunately Forge do not offer a proper silicone version with the correct angle, so DV.info has developed an own version with Beek Autoracing. Viewed: 216 times.

The original brass mounted radiator can better be replaced by an aluminium version. More and quite expensive, but it allows your engine to run much cooler and more reliable. Even on Cosworth engines with over 300 HP! Price around 700 Euro's Viewed: 181 times.

| This was my left-hand side engine mounting frame. The mounting holes went wrong with some 2003 welding production. I discovered this when removing the engine. Have this checked when your engine is removed. This problem could result in a wrong engine/ gearbox alignment causing vibrations and eventually your final drive gear bearing to stop working. Got a new one from the factory without separate charges... good service... Viewed: 182 times.

| I discovered the steering rack was coming loose due to a shim ring which was cut open?! It is my opinion this should be a fixed position and after final adjustment of the steering rack only closed shim rings should be used for safety. Q-control? Viewed: 190 times.

| The OEM Bosch dump valve is a critical part over 180 HP. Better to replace by a better constructed version like the product from Forge. It is around 200 Euro’s. Viewed: 167 times.

| The replacement for the Bosch plastic version. The Splitter is a truly remarkable valve that gives a combination of blow off and recirculation valve operation all at the same time and has been specifically designed for the many turbo engined applications that operate metered airflow management sysyems. This means you get all the noise of the blow off valve whilst retaining the compatibility with the recirculation requirements of the engine management system. As a bonus we also offer the ability to convert the valve to recirculation only mode for those times when stealth running is required.
This valve uses a Copper and Zinc alloy piston which utilises new sealing technology along with a variable spring preload incorporating a ratchet type top adjuster that will allow for the positive and precise adjustment to match the valve to your engine. This is achieved by using a unique single, conical, progressive rate spring that can allow for the retention of boost pressure over a wide adjustment range. This unique spring design also allows for unrestricted piston travel and flow volume regardless of the amount of pre-load adjustment added to the spring. Other manufacturers valves using cylindrical springs with adjustable pre-load often experience restricted piston travel and a reduction in flow volume. It's about 175 Dollar. Viewed: 76 times.

| Duchting has welded additional plates to the cycle wing support struds. This prevends them from cracking when there is a flat sport on the tire due to harsh (mis)braking on the race track. Viewed: 122 times.

| An extension from Heggeman steel. With this piece a wide track conversion can be performed without changing the steering rack. Quoted by Donkervoort for significant money… Viewed: 103 times.

| The best tip given to me was that the Audi engines require an ALU radiator instead of the standard brass version. This because of the catalic process in the difference of the metals killing your cylinder head gasket. Even stronger recommended on Cosworth engines, because the gasket contains other materials. Mechanic claims this is the main reason of Cosworths being sensitive to popping out gaskets….! Viewed: 136 times.
